Haigan Wong is the Director of Adega Royale, a company he founded in 2007 specialising in old world wines as well as spirits. He is a columnist on food and wine pairing and his articles have been published in Hong Kong and Macau. Haigan is an experienced taster on Champagne and wine and has judged in Hong Kong, France and Portugal. Recently, he was inducted as as a Prud’Homme de la Jurade for The Jurade of Saint-Emilion, a 3000-strong membership who act as global ambassadors for the wines of Saint-Emilion. In 2018, in association with the Scottish University of Moray College UHI, he co-founded WhiskyU to promote whisky education in Asia.
