Korean native, Juwan Jim is the Head Sommelier at Zuma Hong Kong, a contempary Japanese restaurant. Prior to this, he spent two years in London as one of the opening team members for Roka Mayfair and several years as a sommelier in his native Korea.

After discovering his love of wine, Juwan self studied and passed the WSET Level 3 in 2007. Juwan also studied for the Court of Master Sommelier (CMS) and Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) qualifications. Among his accomplishments, he has represented Korea in the 2nd Asia-Oceania Best Sommelier Competition and ranked 5th. His passion for wine and food has taken him to many wine regions, including: Chile, France, Italy and Japan. He has drawn inspiration from his travels abroad and taught him the true meaning of hospitality and service.
