Wingate Ng recently joined the Black Sheep Restaurants group as a sommelier in Carbone, the New York style Italian restaurant within the group’s 17 restaurants in Hong Kong. Prior to this move, Wingate was a wine specialist at Zachys, a leading wine retail, fine wine auctions and fine wine storage enterprise in New York and Hong Kong.

Driven by a deep passion for wine knowledge, Wingate pursued the WSET Diploma. With over 8 years experience in the sales and retail field in Hong Kong, he has also worked for Watson’s Wine, Berry Bros & Rudd Hong Kong, L’Imperatrice Fine Wine and Schmidt Vinothek.
