Anty Fung is a media-savvy F&B and wine professional from Hong Kong. She is the General Manager of Hip Cellar and AnOther Place by David Myers, and also Portfolio Manager of WWXplorer. She obtained her Level 4 WSET Diploma in 2014, Certified Sommelier from CMS and Certified Specialist of Wine from SWE in 2013. She is currently studying for Master of Wine.

I'm also looking forward to studying the rating processes and scoring standards of different judges - especially the ways the panel heads reconcile subjective judgments or conflicting judging standards so as to bring about fair and impartial results

Presence at the Asian food and wine pairing awards is particularly meaningful to me as it particularly connects well with the broader food-first wine-second population. That component makes this wine competition not just an elite event for the wine-literate crowd. It also excels over others of which the most relevant awards for consumers tend to be closely linked with price categories. Asians love food, and a wine competition that includes a food and wine pairing award makes me more relevant and applicable to the local markets."
